ICT (Induced Draft Counter flow Cooling Tower) Round shaped or popularly known as bottle type are used by all Industries to cool their
re-cycled process water, flow from 10M3/Hr. to 500 M3/Hr.
Round Shape incorporates the rotary type mechanical sprinkler driven by the pressure of the input waters and ensuring 100% water dispersion over the fill media.
The 360 Degrees air in take area assists 100% cooling efficiencies. It gives difference in temperature varying
from 4oC to 30oC, in a single cell. The round shape of the tower provides a good aesthetic appearance.
Technical Function
The tower design incorporates water inlets at the bottom collection sump through which water is circulated vertically to the mechanical rotary sprinkler located above the fill media. The inlet water forces the rotary sprinkler, having extended arm pipes with orifices to rotate about and disperse water uniformly over the fill media.
The fan directly coupled to the motor is located on the top and during operations take away the heat by induced draft mechanism. Air is drawn from the lower air in take area & is forced to travel through the fill media vertically. During this process it takes away the heat from the water passing through the fill media. A small portion of the water is evaporated which removes the heat from the remaining water. The warm moist air is drawn through the fan deck, by the fan and discharged to the atmosphere. Cold water is collected at the collection sump having the outlet connection through which cold water is re-circulated to the application.
